Common Ford wheel damage and how we fix it
Kerb damage to the rim edge is by far the most common issue we see on Ford alloys, alongside buckled wheels from potholes on family cars and corroded or scuffed diamond cut faces on ST and RS models fitted with lower-profile performance tyres. A buckled Ford wheel is checked and straightened, or welded if cracked, before any refinishing starts. On an everyday Ford, a scuffed or faded alloy is usually fixed with a fresh powder coat in the original silver or grey; on an ST or RS model with a diamond cut face, the corroded or scuffed area is machined away on a lathe and resealed with lacquer.

We look over every wheel first and find each kerb mark, crack and buckle before any work starts.
Step 2: We repair it
Buckles are straightened and cracks are welded in the workshop, before any cosmetic work.
Step 3: We refinish it
The wheel is powder coated or diamond cut to match, then checked, balanced and ready to refit.
